COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The promoter is Spectrum Solicitors, 49 Wheelgate, Malton, YO17 7HT authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.


2. Eligibility

2.1 The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2 Employees of the promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Only one entry per person is permitted.


3. How to enter

3.1 Entry is free and no purchase is required.
3.2 To enter, participants must submit one bid in pounds (£) via the official entry form on the promoter’s website before the closing date.
3.3 Only whole numbers are permitted. Decimal values will be deemed invalid.
3.4 Entries submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.


4. How the winner is chosen

4.1 The winner will be the entrant who submits the lowest valid bid that is not submitted by any other entrant.
4.2 If two or more entrants submit the same bid, that bid will not be considered unique and will not win.
4.3 If no unique bids are submitted, the promoter reserves the right to declare the competition void or to re-run the competition.
4.4 The promoter’s decision regarding the outcome of the competition is final.


5. The prize

5.1 The prize is 50% off the promoter’s standard legal fees for one Residential Freehold Conveyancing Transaction.
5.2 Disbursements, third-party costs, and additional services are excluded and remain payable by the winner.
5.3 The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the winner being notified.
5.4 The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.                                


6. Winner notification

6.1 The winner will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided on entry.
6.2 If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.


7. Data protection

7.1 Personal data submitted as part of the competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition, unless the entrant has opted in to receive marketing communications.
7.2 Data will be processed in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy.


8. General

8.1 The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that breaches these terms or appears to be fraudulent.
8.2 The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition if circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
8.3 The competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
